Beyond Diagnosis: Post-Assessment Guidance and Funding Support

Beyond Diagnosis: Post-Assessment Guidance and Funding Support

A diagnosis is just the beginning. We offer free post-assessment sessions to help families with therapy planning, funding applications, and the disability tax credit for autism. You don't have to navigate this alone. Our team is here to make the process smooth and supportive.

 Autism Diagnosis With Expert-Led Care

Autism Diagnosis With Expert-Led Care

We carry out thorough, individualized assessments using a range of tools for accurate, meaningful results. Our process accounts for developmental level, co-occurring conditions, and each person's circumstances. Afterward, you receive a detailed report with a diagnosis, where applicable, and practical strategies for growth.

Timely Autism Assessments for Early Intervention

We prioritize fast, high-quality care because early support matters. While other routes can mean a wait of well over a year, we provide comprehensive autism assessments in as little as one month, so support isn't delayed when it counts most.

Understanding Autism Assessment in Vancouver

An autism assessment is a structured, evidence-based evaluation of how a person communicates, connects with others, and experiences the world. Our private autism assessment in Vancouver goes beyond a single tool, because autism shows up differently in a toddler, a school-aged child, a teen, and an adult. An accurate autism diagnosis takes a multidisciplinary team that looks at the whole person: their developmental history, their day-to-day functioning, and any conditions that occur alongside autism.

Autism Assessment for Adults

Many adults reach adulthood without ever being assessed. An adult autism assessment in BC can bring a deep sense of clarity, help make sense of lifelong experiences, and open the door to accommodations at work or in study. Our assessment for adolescents and adults focuses on autism features, developmental history, everyday functioning, and mental health, and includes a psychiatry evaluation and a speech-language assessment that looks at the social use of language.

Autism Assessment for Children & Teens

For children, an early autism assessment can unlock funding, therapy, and school support at the stage where it makes the biggest difference. We assess children from as young as 12 months, and for those under 6 we include the cognitive and speech-language testing that BC funding requires. Because some parts of an autism assessment need to be done in person, we serve families across BC, including Vancouver, the Lower Mainland, and Victoria, and we keep wait times short so support isn't delayed.
